Ants-in-the-pants investing

It's hard to sit still with all that's been going on in the financial markets. Volatility is up, and it seems that the stock market's going to do something big, I just don't know what.

But if I sit back and breathe into a paper bag for a little while, I know my investments are well-diversified. And regardless what happens, I'm in for the long, long run so this roller coaster ride is meaningless turbulence.

Still, it would be fun one of these days to put some money into commodities (gold or silver or oil perhaps), just for the excitement.

    Excitement? You are made of sterner stuff than I am. If I feel the need to gamble I take $40 and go to the casino.. LOL.. Oh did I mention I'm not big on casinos?

    Tee hee. Everyday my husband comes home, I tell him, "Honey, were poorer today!" Since we are in it for the long haul, may as well let it ride. I feel bad for people counting on their dividends for survival.

    I read in an article that that not only are we in for a recession, but that we're actually long overdue for one. Big Grin Well, I thought it was funny anyway.
